People – families – generations.

Our team consists mainly of members from the same family and can look back on around 20 years of joint activity. We are proud of this and make our clients part of it all. Another pleasing result is that we are increasingly developing a clientele spanning several generations. We welcome our long-standing clients’ children because they guarantee the continuation of internal family interests. Most new clients come to us via word-of-mouth recommendation.

Martin Treffer
Portfolio management
‍Martin Treffer began his career as an investment advisor at ZKB. In 1987 he joined the Marc Rich Group in commodities trading and from 1990 was responsible for portfolio management and commodities trading at the Zurich-based asset management company Pauli Investment Management. He founded the 2trade group with Samuel Matter in 1999.

Samuel Matter
Portfolio management
‍After completing a banking apprenticeship and numerous finance-related training courses, Samuel Matter worked for UBS for many years as a portfolio manager in Zurich, Hong Kong and New York. In 1997 he assumed responsibility for proprietary trading at Pauli Investment Management before founding the 2trade group with Martin Treffer in 1999.

Daniel Biedermann
Portfolio management
‍Daniel Biedermann started as a portfolio manager with the then Schweizerischer Bankverein and joined Roche in 1988, where he was also Chairman of the Pension Fund Investment Committee. He then worked at Pauli Investment Management as an analyst for SMEs and from 2005 to 2007 as a portfolio manager at Swissfirst Bank and later at Bank am Bellevue.

Susanne Treffer
Family Office and real estate management
‍After a commercial apprenticeship Susanne Treffer honed her expertise working with international trading companies. In 2007 she moved to the 2trade group, where she assumed responsibility for the administration and organisation of the various family offices. As part of this remit, she also offers a range of real estate-related services.
